ORDER PROCESS, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATION

Order Form: No changes can be made once the order is submitted. All submissions are final. Full payment will be due after submission - No cancellation after submission.

Deposit: A 50% deposit is due at the time of ordering for furniture. Bedding, clothing & soft furnishings require full payment. Orders will not be processed until payment is received. All deposits are non-refundable.

Full Payment: Furniture- Balance is due to be paid 60 days after order and will automatically be taken from your original payment method.

Late Payment: If payment is not received, furniture orders will not be included in the shipment which will then incur a further lead time of 6+ weeks. Any outstanding balance once the shipment is received at LINGLUX HQ will incur a storage fee after 2 weeks grace period. Storage fees vary and start from £30 per week.

Manufacturing Period: These time frames may vary. Not inclusive of shipping / postage times.

16-20 weeks - Furniture
4-6 weeks - Bedding & Soft Furnishings e.g. Rugs, Knitted Moses Baskets, Silk Moses Baskets etc.

Warranty: Returns or errors outside the UK are not covered. We do not cover damages beyond our warranty. Return warranty is valid only within the UK. LINGLUX does not assume responsibility for warranty shipping or costs outside the UK.

Order Reference: Once your order is processed, we will send you an order confrimation email with your order number. Please state your order number in the subject when contacting.

Delivery: Delivery cost is not included. If you have not received a delivery or postage price you must send us a message with your address to receive an accurate price for orders.

Furniture: Quoted once made. We will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date once we have received your order at LINGLUX HQ. Delivery dates are at discretion of LINGLUX and when our delivery team are available.

Bedding items and soft furnishings are posted with the courier service Parcel Force:

Bedding Postage UK - £15.

Bedding Postage Ireland - £30.

Soft furnishings: Dependent on items & location.

Overseas shipping: Priced with comparison online company for the most competitive rate. All shipping fees, taxes, customs and duty is to be paid by the buyer.

LINGLUX takes no responsibility in returns if the buyer is to purchase from overseas.

Please be advised LINGLUX does not directly deliver goods for overseas shipments. As a result, we hold no liability for any damages that may occur during transit. While we strive to ensure the safe transportation of our products, any issues or damages that may arise during shipping are the responsibility of the shipping provider and the customer.

If you have agreed to transport the goods with a third party shipping company, we want to emphasise that once the goods leave our premises and are in transit, we have no liability for any damages that may occur during handling, exportation, or return.

While we take great care in packaging and preparing your furniture for transportation, we would like to emphasize that once the goods leave our premises and are in transit, we cannot accept liability for any damages that may occur during handling and exportation.

Help/Complaints: If for any reason you are unsatisfied or require help with your order after it has been delivered, you must email us at info@linglux.co.uk. All disputes will be dealt with here. We will not dispute via Instagram or any other social media. You agree not to make any statement or comment of any nature in respect of LINGLUX or their products on any social media platform including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google or any review platform or verbally.

Social media: LINGLUX social media platforms are for marketing purposes - They are not our main source of communication. All communication regarding enquiries and orders must be via email.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that all product photographs and videos may be shared on our social media platforms and website once they have been created. This could occur prior to the receipt of your purchased items.

Please note that once media content has been uploaded, it cannot be removed. All photographs and videos are part of our pre-planned social media strategy, including editing, scheduling, and publication processes.

Bespoke Creations Disclaimer

Please note that all our products are bespoke and crafted in our signature Linglux style. While we strive to bring your vision to life and take every care to interpret your ideas accurately, there may be slight variations due to the creative and handcrafted nature of our work. Our team uses their professional expertise to deliver a unique, high-quality product to the best of their ability. We kindly ask for your understanding that minor differences or creative interpretations are part of the bespoke process, ensuring a beautifully personalised result.

Mattress Not Included Disclaimer

Please be advised that mattresses are not included with any purchases at Linglux. We will provide you with the exact measurements required for your item, along with recommendations on where to order a suitable mattress. It is the client’s responsibility to purchase the mattress separately.

 REFUNDS & REPAIRS 

• All products/services are bespoke and made to order. Due to the personalised nature of our offerings, we do not offer refunds or cancellations once an order is placed and confirmed.
• By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final, and we do not accept returns or provide refunds.
• Please note, sizes requested can change the overall look of a product. We measure all sizes in centimeters (CM). You must submit your measurements in CM. All measurements are final once order is placed and Ling Lux cannot be held responsible for measurement mistakes. You must check access doors/ stairs, furniture placement measurements as we cannot be held liable for items that do not fit after you have placed your order.
• In the event that you receive a faulty item or an item that does not meet the agreed-upon specifications, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the item. We will investigate the issue and, if verified, we will undertake the necessary repairs to rectify the fault or non-compliance.
• To initiate a repair request, please contact our customer service team at info@linglux.co.uk. We may require you to provide supporting documentation, such as photographs or a detailed description of the fault or non-compliance.
• Repair services will be provided at our discretion. We reserve the right to examine the item and determine the appropriate course of action, which may include repairing or replacing the item.
• The timeframe for repairs will depend on the nature and complexity of the issue. We will make reasonable efforts to complete the repair within a reasonable period and keep you informed of the progress.
• Repairs will be carried out free of charge if the fault or non-compliance is covered by warranty or if it occurred due to our error. However, if the issue is determined to be caused by misuse, negligence, or improper care, repair costs may be incurred by you.
• Please note that slight variations in color, texture, or other aesthetic elements may occur due to the bespoke nature of our items. These variations should be considered part of the unique character of the product and do not constitute faults or grounds for refunds.

• For hand-painted and hand-carved items on furniture: We cannot guarantee against breakage of delicate 3D butterflies, flowers, etc., as they are thin and not intended for long-term durability. Feel free to choose or add these items at your own risk, understanding that they may break due to their delicate nature.
• Please note that our 3D wooden butterflies are delicate decorative items and are not covered under any warranty or guarantee against breakage. Due to the nature of the material and the intricate design, these items require careful handling. Any damage or breakage that occurs after purchase, whether during handling, installation, or use, is not covered by our warranty policy. By purchasing our 3D wooden butterflies, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
• LINGLUX bespoke baby furniture is crafted in accordance with the standards outlined in BS EN 716-1:2017. However, please be aware that each cot is individually manufactured upon order, resulting in variations in overall appearance and size to cater to specific customer requirements.
• Liability: - We shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our baby furniture. - The responsibility for ensuring the safety of the baby or child lies with the parents or guardians using the furniture.
• If the size of the furniture or product differs from the original or the picture you have seen, please note that the overall appearance may vary from the images provided. 

• Gold Leaf Disclaimer - Please note that if you select a gold finish for any product, it will be applied using gold leaf. Gold leaf is a traditional material known for its luxurious and unique appearance, which includes a naturally textured and layered finish. This appearance can vary slightly due to the artisanal application process, resulting in a surface that may show subtle variations in texture and layering. By choosing a gold finish, you acknowledge and accept that the gold leaf application may result in a textured and layered appearance, which is an inherent characteristic of the material.

• LINGLUX original designs are made to ensure they conform to all relevant regulations. However, if you request a made-to-order design or modifications to the original design, we cannot guarantee that the altered product will meet all regulatory requirements. In such cases, the modified furniture is intended for decorative purposes only. By requesting design changes, you acknowledge and accept that the product may no longer comply with certain regulations and should be used accordingly.
