Orders & shipping

How do I order?

You can either choose to order via our website, entering your bespoke requirements into the product page before adding to basket.

Alternatively you can email us at info@linglux.co.uk to place your order.

We also offer online consultations which is a virtual shopping experience - you can book it by clicking HERE.

How much does shipping cost?

Delivery times

Please refer to our order process page too which explains the steps involved before production begins.

Our delivery times are as follows:

Furniture takes 16/20 weeks on average (once all order details are confirmed)

Bedding and soft furnishings take 6/8 weeks on average (once all order details are confirmed)

 

UK Orders

Non Furniture orders are charged at £15 for delivery. This is via Parcelforce.

All furniture orders within the UK are charged at £150 for delivery and assembly and delivered via our personal courier service.

Assembly is available only in the UK and will be arranged with you beforehand.

Prams within the UK are charged at £30 delivery.

There is the option to collect your order from us near Dunmow in Essex.

 

Outside of the UK

Please note - Delivery for all items will NOT be payable until after your order has been placed.

This is because costs vary from country to country and the delivery charges we're quoted from couriers can changes week to week.

We will contact you with a delivery cost after your order has been placed. Or, if you would prefer a quote beforehand please contact us via email at info@linglux.co.uk before placing your order.

Do you have a brochure?

Yes we do.

We advise all our customers to take a look at our brochure so they can view our latest colours and bespoke options.

Can you assemble my furniture for me?

Yes, but only within the UK. Any furniture orders within the UK include assembly.

Do you offer payment plans?

You can either pay 50% upon order, with the remainder of your balance due before we dispatch your order. Or you can pay the total amount upon order.

How do I order a bespoke product?

At Ling Lux we offer a complete bespoke service.

If you want an alteration to anything you see on our website or socials we can do that. If you have a design in mind that you'd like us to make, we can also do that.

You can order via the product page detailing all your bespoke requirements.

We will always be in touch with you after you order to confirm all of your requirements.

Do you offer a warranty?

All of our furniture comes with a 2 year guarantee which includes the following:

1. Manufacturing Defects: We guarantee our bespoke furniture against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery. This includes issues such as faulty joints, structural problems, or defects in the materials used.

2. Quality Assurance: Our bespoke furniture is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and quality. We ensure that each piece meets our high standards before it leaves our workshop.

3. Custom Design: We stand behind the design of our bespoke furniture. If the final product does not match the agreed-upon design or specifications, we will work with you to resolve the issue.

4. Functional Components: Mechanical or moving parts, such as drawer mechanisms or hinges, are covered under warranty against malfunction or failure under normal use.

5. Finishing and Coating: Our furniture finishes are applied with care to ensure durability and longevity. We guarantee that the finish will not peel, crack, or bubble under normal use and maintenance.


Exclusions as follows:

Natural Variations: Due to the nature of natural materials, variations in grain, color, and texture are to be expected and are not considered defects.

Wear and Tear: Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper maintenance is not covered under warranty.

External Factors: Damage caused by external factors such as accidents, negligence, or exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., humidity, temperature) is not covered.

 

Please be aware:

The characteristics of the Wood used to build a particular product may vary slightly from the wood used in any samples or product photography due to the inherent characteristics of the material. Wood is a natural material. There will be variations, including knots, texture and grain variations. We can not control or guarantee the exact look of any board or product.


As wood is a natural product, even though we take great care in preventing wood warp by finishing our products correctly when we kiln dry the timber and paint, it can be prone to bowing, kinking, twisting, cupping or crooking
In turn, no representation, warranty and/or guarantee is made with respect to the precise colour, lustre or appearance of finishes of any product.


All of our products are completely handcrafted, and we make no representation or guarantee that any product will appear exactly as any another.

Wood is a natural product that responds to temperature and humidity variations by expanding and contracting. Sometimes these changes may be noticeable in the physical appearance of the product. Although every care is taken to ensure our products are able to handle temperature and humidity changes, the conditions of your home can affect the wooden products you buy from us.

Your items can experience small movements and cracks as it adjusts - this is not a fault, but a natural occurrence within the fibres of a natural product.

We advise you to keep the product in consistent, stable conditions to minimise the effects of temperature and moisture change in the atmosphere. For example, avoiding placing the product close to a heat source such as a radiator or oven will go a long way to ensuring the longevity of the product.

Can I collect from you?

Yes, we offer a collection service free of charge.

Please select collection at checkout.

Collection is from Dunmow in Essex.

We ask that you please do not turn up without speaking to us first. We will let you know when you can collect and will provide you with the full address and directions etc.
